Hi, just managed to update to the latest firmware. I realised the WHQL driver was missing from my computer.
By the way they added a new IEM profile - :Oriolus Trailli Ti

I have the W4 EX and see no iem profiles. I'm guessing that this is a feature only on the W4, not the EX.

Not really. IEM profiles are supported since the original W1 / W2 series. It is under 'SDF' setting.

Just remember this W4 specific twist when updating.

The firmware update method for W4 series is slightly different from that of W1 /W2 series.
When the firmware update tool prompts "Verifying Success", it means the writing is complete. When the screen
stays on the "LUXURY&PRECISION" logo interface, disconnect the USB connection. After reinserting the USB, the
screen will display "Updating". Wait for about ten seconds, and the firmware update will be completed.

It doesn't hurt to try. I've already tried all SDF settings with the IE900 and Traillii OG, but stayed with Normal in the end. Occasionally, I listen to an album that needs some adjustment, luckily, we have both SDF and EQ on the W4.

Tell me about it. I bought the W4 literally 2 days after ordering the original Oriolus. Anyway, great device. The Mest mk3 is another one that really shines with it.

Also I think the sound has improved a bit. More detailed overall. I am glad they haven't forgotten about the W4.

I've updated to 1.0.0.8 on my EX. Under the SPF menu, I find IE 600 and IE 800S, but not IE 900. What am I still missing?

It should be 1.0.1.8... as soon as you have the right version, the SDF for IE900 should be there. Just keep pressing the button.
