If you have experience with this op-amp,

then how would you rank its sound quality, as compared to the common OPA627, AD843, AD8610 ...

I think it's a pretty good chip, not the last word in "audiophile" performance, but more musical than some of the more commonly used chips. It isn't quite as extended in the highs as say the AD8065 (my preferred chip for neutrality & performance), but it doesn't impose a bit of a dark, syrupy coloration as the 627 can. It's more of a lively, bouncy sound, with a punchy bass. Considering how cheap this chip is, if you're the least bit interested, just give it a shot, you might like it.
