Thanks, plenty of 12AX7 savers. Can't see any 6N3 savers?Try doing a search on Amazon for "vacuum tube socket saver". Quite a few different types show up on the US Amazon site.

Glad you're enjoying the P20! Have had mine for over six years and still really enjoy it.Apologies for bumping up a thread that hasn't been used for a few months. I live in the UK, can someone give me a link to budget tube extenders for the P20?
I've only just purchased a nice used example of this amp and it's incredible!
Not finished auditioning it yet, but i've put my Monolith THX AAA 887 away and i am using this on my desktop now.
I'm using stock tubes and PSU at the moment, i've got a 12V 5 amp PSU on order, and i've got a pair of Tung Sol tubes to try out yet.
Headphones are Sennheiser HD-540 Golds (600 Ohm) and Hifiman HE-560's. Senn's running from balanced cable, Hifiman's single ended cable at the moment.
DAC - SMSL DO100 Pro.
Anyone know where to get a set of 6N3P-DR?
Thanks again, i've found these on eBay UK. Could you please confirm they are the right ones?.........The ones I bought, and am using, are listed as "Cary Gold 9pin Bakelite Tube Socket 12ax7b 12au7 Ec883 Ecc82".
Early days yet, i've not had as much time as i'd like with it. But i'm certainly impressed! No doubt the 5A PSU will improve my listening experience, although the stock PSU isn't too shabby. And despite the criticism, i don't think the SE output shames the amp. Although it may come down to the cans used with it.Glad you're enjoying the P20! The SE output works fine IME but the balanced output does produce noticeably more power.Early days yet, i've not had as much time as i'd like with it. But i'm certainly impressed!
