Alright so I finally got the last missing piece of the puzzle (sonic impact T-amp) today. I hooked everything properly or atleast I think I did

Paradigm Titans --> Canare Cables --> Sonic Impact T-amp --> 2x1/4th mono-mini cable--> emu 0404
So I got it working but the sound is really low and I have to keep my ear next to the speaker to hear.
Just few things I tried.
1) I checked the Windows control panel.
2) I checked the T-amp's volume knob.
It didn't do any good.

Plz gimme some suggestions. Thank you in advance...

Either the t-amp can't drive the titans or you have a bad t-amp.

Actually, I want to check on whether the problem is the emu. You should check too. Should be easy if you have a portable and a cable.

Quick checklist.
1) Emu 0404 + T-amp + Titans --- very low sound
2) Emu 0404 + T-amp + free speakers that came along with T-amp --very low sound
3) Creative sound blaster + T-amp + Titans --- excellent sound
4) Creative sound blaster + T-amp + Free Speakers --- excellent sound
EMU !!!!!!!!

Any idea how to fix this problem. I mean sound creative blaster is fine for now but I don't wanna give up on my Emu 0404 that easily.

Is there anything that I can do to make Emu work?

No, I got low volume on my 1212m as well, and my settings are all definitely fine as far as volume sliders go. One thing we may want to try is changing the output from -10 to +4. I can't do it because of my font setting obscuring the radio button -_-.

I tried everything. I don't know whats wrong but I gave up on that. Right now listening to titans on Creative sound blaster and actually its not that bad...

I am listening at very low volume cuz folks on my dorm floor are complaining...

Its gonna take me some time now before I take a deep breath and try to test Emu with titans. If it doesn't work, then time to say good bye to titans and build a headphone rig.

t-amp loud enough to make other people complain, imagine that.

Going to scrap the titans and t-amp just because of the lousy emu? What about a dac?
