Hello users,

my really basic Sennheiser headphones just abandoned me, and I was willing to replace them with something a bit more high-quality.

I'd really love to buy an over-head model, but I still haven't figured out its real handiness for my kind of usage, compared to the earphones solution. Therefore, I'd like to ask you for some suggestions about which model would be best in both cases. Those are the most important parameters:

  1. Budget: roughly around 50 EUR or less
  2. Mostly used outdoors in a quite noisy environment
  3. Pretty passionate about bass
  4. I use to carry them in my backpack, therefore quite durable & resistant
  5. No problem with availability, I'll buy them online

Thank you in advance for any possible suggestion any of the two types.

Cheers,
Daniele

Thank you for the reply. I'll look for more info about it.

Meanwhile, I was doing some researches, and I found those models.

  1. Sennheiser PX 200-II
  2. Sony MDR-7502
  3. Sennheiser HD 228
  4. Shure SRH240-A
  5. Koss PRO DJ 100

What do you think about 'em?

px200 are ok, small and very portable, on-ear. Be careful with HD228 build quality.
Pro DJ100 sound best with an amp.

Regards

Shure SRH440 would be better than 240, but are very neutral sounding.
