Low cost player primarily for audiobooks?

Hopefully someone will have some input on this. Trying to help a coworker who had his old Sansa mp3 player stolen. He rarely listens to music, and needs a player that will will play audiobooks and be able to bookmark or restart where he left off. he doesn't have a cell phone, so audiobook apps for Android or iOS don't help. I think he wants to keep it under $100.

The SanDisk Clip might be an option, if the audio books are from Audible.I'd check through the customer reviews on Amazon. Even an iPod Touch, though, with the Audible app installed, would probably provide more flexibility if your friend listens to more tha one book at a time.
