I am trying to find a good heaphone witin my limited budget of £50. The important factors to me are:

Accurate sound reproduction (not coloured and tuned for a particular type of music, but an all rounder)
Ability to produce very low bass (without being heavy sounding with bloated or flabby bass).
Open soudstage

Shortlist so far:
Sennheiser HD485
Sennhesier HD215

Not sure yet, but I think it would be better if I get a closed type.

Please help point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Think about why you need a closed type. Will you be in a noisy environment, or around other people?

HD485 is not closed. I think it's a little too bass-heavy. Better imho to go for the HD555, which costs a bit more.

For closed, HD 280 is a great balanced headphone with very low bass reproduction.
