I love my Westone UM2's.

Warm, bass-rich, accurate and comfortable.

Walk around with them every day.

BUT. The only thing that I don't like is the colour. Why oh why are they frosted clear plastic? Everyone looks at me as though I'm deaf with hearing aids in. Anyone else find this?

I wonder if there is a way of painting them or something? I'd like them black but I just shudder to think of bits of paint flaking off into my ears.

What do you lot think? Should I just suck it up and deal with having medical looking things in my ears?

Maybe hobby paint or nail polish.

I recall somebody selling UM1's that were painted black with Nail Polish or something.

Looked pretty cool.
