First off, I need portables which work well with an ipod touch. Second, I need earbuds or iems which I can hear the outside world well enough to know when someone is speaking to me or a car is coming. Third, the damn cable has to be longer ( I am tall ) and less microphonic than the PK3. SQ wise? I am ok with the Pk3. Just need a longer cable and less noise from the damn cord. Basically, the cord on the pk3 drives me nuts.

Any suggestions?
