Crazy. I remember the days when they worked their albums to "perfection". The album "And Justice For All" was the last album for me, from the band I loved above any other band. From there, it all went downhill, probably with their hearing ability too.

They loosing their hearing ability doesn't excuse them for not being able to see graphics and use available technology to make it better, not worse. Yeah, AJFA was probably their latest best :| Everything after that is mediocre.

An argument on the quality of their mixing/mastering shouldn't include AJFA on the pro's side, though
