My main headphones at the moment are HD700's and in the process of trying to acquire a set of AKG K712's for the right price. I'm currently in the price range of $250-$500+. I'm considering the Schiit Jot, Mimby plus Lyr 2, Aune X1S, Aune X7s plus a DAC, or the new IFI iDSD Black Label. This will be used with my desk top so I'm not looking for portability specifically. I have a tube amp that does something different but I don't own a DAC or solid state amp. Thanks for everyone input ahead of time.
