Has my sugden bijou headmaster amp may have finally bitten the dust 
?
The issue started last week, a bit of static noise in the left headphone channel, i thought nothing of it, just power cycled the amp and it went away (briefly). (it sounds like when you have a 3.5mm jack coming out of a switched on amp and someone is taping the end of it combined with a bit of ruffling sheets.) It got slightly worse the other day till all sound switched off from the left headphone channel and all that can be heard is a loud static noise. This noise is heard through all inputs whether the volume is turned up full or completely off... The omens do not seem to be good at all
