Hello, I have just encountered a major problem from my soundcard (SB0550). I was tinkering with a few setting and then all of a sudden I lost all sound. I am completely clueless as to what to do I've reset my computer re-installed drivers and tinkered with settings all to no avail any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to remove the sound card drivers, then restart your pc, and then install them again. That restart in between clears your memory in case your previous settings are still being saved there.

When you were tinkering with settings were you in the soundcard settings or Windows Sound settings?  I was assuming you in the former.

Well I was changing things in both but it dropped while changing windows sound settings.
