I unfortunately left my great SE530's on a plane

I need new headphones, but im not sure what I should get. Should I play it safe and stay with the SE530's or should I try something different such as the Westone 3's. I like the idea of trying new things, but right now there is a really good deal on amazon for the Shure's. I definitely loved the SE530, but I always wonder if there are better products out there.

I probably will not pay anything over $400.

I am open to any suggestions on what I should buy. Thanks

It's always good to try new stuff, otherwise you won't know what you are (or aren't) missing. With the top tier iems you can trade or sell them pretty easily to buy a new pair or just try new stuff. I'd go for the UM3X if I were you.

Westone 3 would be a step up. Have you thought about getting a pair of custom IEM's? That might be the way to go.
