I lost my E4Cs the other day and while I wait for the insurance company to sort it out, I'm after a budget pair to tide me over.

EP-630s seem a bit of a bargain but are there any other recommendations?

i would say that the AKG of the same body style would be better. seeing as people say the Creative doesn't sound as good as the CX300, and the k324p sounds better than the CX300 with less overwhelming bass. i would go that route!

JVC FX-33 Marshmallows - to my ears they sound better than Sennheiser CX300s/Creative EP630s and cost less.

I have a pair of E4Cs, if something happened to them, I'd reach for a pair of FX33s.
