After removing the earcup to get rid of some hair from the drivers I found that I cannot get the earcup to clip back into place, it stays there fine but when I remove the headphones from my head it falls off, anyone have any advice?

Don't take them off your head? Why would you want to? Those or the HD600s will pretty much never come off my head once I can find a nice deal on a set.

Did you try clipping it into place without the foam pad? The pad sort of folds down into the crevice and might be preventing the earcup from sticking. Obviously this would just be a diagnostic, unless you prefer the sound sans foam.

Ditch the foam and be prepared to thave this problem much more often.

Yup, it's still as loose, a little workaround I've found is to just remove the foam from the earcup and place it loosely under instead of it being worked into the pad, the added foams seems to hold it in place a bit more tightly. It's still not ideal but there doesn't seem to be much I can do if it just doesn't want to clip in. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me since I suppose I could get a replacement since it's still under warranty.

Edit - Also the sound signature seems to have changed after removing the earcup, it has much more airiness to it and the bass has more impact but less volume which I'm not quite sure I like.
