I dusted out my pc, and I then my X-Fi forte stopped working. The sound control panel responds and shows activity, but no audio comes out.

I tried taking the card and and putting it back in, and my headphones work on my psp.

I tried everything, but now I have an excuse for a new card because I ****ing hate that thing, the driver suck, and it has been giving issues for a while.

What should I do? Onboard? *shivers* I use an HD555

What's a good card with good, long lasting and functional driver support?

How do I know it will be supported? Azuntech left the Forte for dead.

And is the Creative Titanium HD good? Does it have a headphone amp (I suppose I could always buy one, but the $$$)

The creative HD doesnt have a headphone amp any way, when you get your STX you may wanna start rolling op-amps

I'll keep that mind :)

I remember you from the Guru3D sound forum :D

You helped me pick the Forte xD It was a good purchase at the time, when Azuntech was supporting it with functioning drivers.
