I love my two-year old M50, but I'm starting to get the itch for something new. I don't have particular preference as far as brand or style is concerned. I use my headphones primarily for music (hip hop, R&B) and gaming. Any recommendations?

i feel like under 200 dollars, there isnt any clear upgrade worth dishing out another 200 bucks for. Have you considered maybe selling your m50 and using the fund from that to possibly buy something in the 300 dollar range?

I'm willing to up to the $300 range. I've heard good things about the Sennheiser Momentum.

The over ear are indeed quite nice. I think theyre great if u can get them lightly

What about the M-Audio's Q40?? just bought them and they sound amazing! And I listen to Rap and R&B too.
