Ok so I am a big fan of my sony 100abn's and I also run with a pair of advanced's model 3 IEMs for when I am away from home. I am thinking about updating and the 1000xm3's are very appetising but I tend to be fine with IEMs as far as comfort and they are just infinitely more portable and less obvious when out and about. I think cans look really weird when you are doing every day things. So I am looking for suggestions on IEMs in the <$300 range. I favor a strong bass and crisp highs in my headphones as I play alot of R&B, Electro (swing, trap), as well as instrumental fusion (Hiroyuki Sawano, Hidden citizen).
On top of the IEMs. my biggest like about the sony cans is their LDAC support. I was hoping to match up a good LDAC receiver with the new IEMs, so if anyone has some suggestions I am up for it. I have been eyeing the Fiio BTR3 or even using the shanling m0 as a BT receiver. Thanks!
