I also need help with my first amp. I have seinhesser hd650s and I will use it most with my ipod classic so I want my amp to be portable. Any Suggestions?

I'll let you know how the IM sounds to me. Like I've said before it might not be the best deal considering I could of spent more but feel like it might be a good introduction to the headphone AMP world.

I tried a d10 with my HD 650's before I sold them, I was impressed by the combo but the low's were soft. It was more enjoyable than my desk amp.

I'm not very sure about headphone amps...

But with headphones, get Alessandro MS-1 improved 2009 version. Do the MS-1000 mod from Nickchen.
