I am looking for some dj /on ear  style headphones in the range of $100 and less comfort is important because I will be using them when I am on the bus to listen to music and also when I am at home and want to watch anime any suggestions would be very helpful.

M50 or Koss Pro dj 100/TBSE1. Another oprtion is the Denon HP1000 for around $150

The DJ100's are a good choice, but I don't find them to be that comfortable out of the box. Apparently different pads fixes that problem, though.

I'd also recommend M50's.  If you want to be a lil different though and don't mind ordering from Australia and waiting a couple weeks.  Consider the Jaycar Monitor Studios.  They are just rebadged Brainwavz HM5's and are supposedly very neutral and some say are even better than M50's.  They will cost total of 70 shipped to US vs the 100-130 dollars price that HM5's run for.

Sennheiser is indeed one of the most popular and reputable brands.  If you're looking for a DJ style headphone for Sennheiser for under 100.  I highly suggest maybe buying a pair of refurbed HD439's from VMinnovations.  There's also a 5% off discount coupon code floating around somewhere online.  I haven't personally used the HD439's but they seem to be very highly praised here on head-fi, with some people saying they're even superior to the M50's
