Hello everyone,
I am looking to purchase some over-the-ear headphones for home-use as well as some monitoring and mixing use. They don't really need to be portable but more importantly durrable. I would like as my isolation as possible for the uses I liste below.
I currently just use my laptop,ipod,ipad2 for my at home music listening. I do not have any hifi audio equipment, but any advice on mayve some headphone amplifiers or docks for my i-devices would be nice. My music listening would be very broad from classical to country. But I listen to more alternative rock, and rock.
My other uese would be for live audio mixing, I am not a professional by all means, but I am learning and really enjoy running "sound" for groups at churches. I have done live-audio from classical to screamo. So that gives you an idea of what kind of sounds would be produces.
Possibly another use might be for in-ear monitoring as a bass player, I currently have another thread in the portable section about using some in-ears to get this job done.
Thanks!
