I currently have the FIIO X3 (ver 2). Just ordered a set of Shure Aonic 4s and also have an HD300 and BD T90 and a FIIO 5121 amp.

Was thinking of upgrading my player but am limited to the stated price range. Will I notice any improvement over the X3 in that range?

I'm not really sure. Since this is the only DAP I've owned, I'm not sure what else I would notice in a better player.
