For the price and sice, the Headsix sure is a great little amplifier and i'd recommend it too.
But I personaly think, that it's just wantonly negligent to listen to Music (especially with IEMs) while driving.
If you can't hear a car behind you or the siren of the ambulance you just jeopardize you and everyone else on the street.
I'd say:
Listen to music at home and have fun and if you're on the streets, concentrate on the traffic and have fun too, but without music.
I really like the pico - but it is only worth it if you want the DAC.
The tomahawk is a great choice because it is solid and service is top-notch. The custom colors are great for matching systems. I would have bought one a long time ago if I had the money. I would see what pops up in the used forum.
Soooo....what did you buy eventually? I'd love a Tomahawk but bought a PA2V2 cuz Gary, he's a good Canuck; not only that, the price was something on which I could do a "no brainer" purchase as I can use it for my work (seriously). I'd buy another one if this one got stolen.
if you are willing to wait a while (circa 9 months) the xin supermicro iv is a wonderful device (i owned it but eventually decided id rather be truly portable than tethered to an amp)
