Hi, I am building a sound system for both music listening and movies.  I am a big music lover, and watching movies using the setup will be secondary.

My current plan is to setup a Dolby Atmos capable 5.1.4 setup with 2 front, 2 rear, 1 center, 1 sub and 4 ceiling speakers, and music wise, use the Dolby Atmos capability to upmix the stereo tracks I have into the 5.1.4 for better immersion..  To drive them I was thinking about a Denon X6200 A/V receiver https://www.amazon.com/Denon-AVRX6200W-Channel-Receiver-Bluetooth/dp/B014M8Z83Y , but my question is this:  are there other options for audiophile-grade sound for music listening than a A/V receiver?  Or if that's pretty much the right way to go, could anyone say what would be a very good choice for that as far as listening to music?  Denon has a more expensive X7200 model, which as they say has audiophile quality components, but that's the lingo now, and how much difference it'd make I have no idea.https://www.amazon.com/Denon-AVR-X7200WA-Channel-Receiver-Bluetooth/dp/B00XIG6LYC/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1469320818&sr=1-2&keywords=Denon+AVRX7200W

Basically I am just trying to build a very good setup that will be able to play Dolby Atmos movies, and mostly listen to my stereo music in DSD/24/192khz, upmixing it into all 5.1.4 channels for better immersion.

For the speaker setup I was thinking something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RP-160M-Reference-Premiere-Subwoofer/dp/B015JERUU4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1469224672&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=klipsch+rp-160m&psc=1&smid=AED492BX4II6G

https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-CDT-5800-C--Ceiling-Pivoting-Speaker/dp/B0074WSYXC/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1469321177&sr=1-1&keywords=klipsch+CDT-5800-C+II

Maybe someone could recommend something better for the price, if you know.

Thank you!

For audio/speakers, a dedicated power amp with a preamplifier would generally be considered an upgrade over a A/V receiver.
You would also need a dedicated DAC to read & play your DSD/24/192khz music as well, which can be cheap or really really expensive.

You would need a separate video processor to play videos.

Thank you for your response!  You're the first one to respond in a few days that my post has been up.  Over the last few days I've done a lot of research and concluded that I should be fine with Denon's X7200WA flagship receiver, which is a lot better for music than most a/v receivers.

I should be able to bitstream audio straight to the receiver over HDMI from my GTX 1070, giving me the best sound possible.  Although I think I have answered my own question, I really appreciate your response!

I think your on the right track in choosing the Denon X7200 receiver.  A definite bang for the buck choice!   My local audio store often pairs B&W speakers alongside Denon with excellent results.

Is there a dealer in your area that you could demo some gear?

I haven't really looked.  It's a silly approach but I've always made purchases after a lot of research online, while never actually having seen it in person.  So far so good!
