Yep, pretty much it.
I'm looking for the better quality deep....deeeeeeeeeeep rumbling thunderstorm and crackling lightning sounds.
I've bought a recording on Qobuz, but alas, whilst it sets a nice ambient, it's pretty distant.
I'd like to be in the middle of it!

Oh, and crisp rain and howling winds are welcome too.

I used the search function, but most answers wee from 2011 and I recon something newer and better might be on the market.

Prime, Netflix and YouTube all have/had storms etc.
The thing to watch out for is the ones with ad breaks, it's a nuisance to say the least.

I should have mentioned it, but I'd like the buy the recording, not steaming them.

Bandcamp might have it. I just searched "thunderstorm sounds" and surprisingly a few came up. I think YouTube is probably your best bet. I'm pretty sure you can download music files from YouTube videos.
