I'm looking for a pair of headphones to compliment my Rio Karma. Right now I have Sony MDR-G52s. I've been lurking here and Hydrogen Audio for a while and the concensus seems to be the Koss KSC-35/50s, the (S)Porta Pro, or the PX100. How do each of them do during activity? Will they slip off? Which one (subjective) do you prefer?

For me, the neckband type, like the KSC-55, stay in place best while moving about. While the G52 were pretty comfortable when I had them, any of the 'phones you're looking at will be lightyears better than them in sound quality.

out of all, KSC-35 has the best grip, and are the most recommanded earphones here.

there's really no point to get KSC-50 if you dont mind 35's design. px100 sounds darker compared to the kosses, if you need isloation, px200 are our choice

...Grado SR-60's on a Karma at our Florida meet and it was truly amazing. The Koss' are totally **** compared to them. Boomy, distant in many respects, overall rather unpleasant.

Even though they are open and have a long-ish cord, it is worth it even for portable use. Believe me: it's really, truly worth it.

Look, if you can save up another $12 over your budget (come on, man, you can do it!), go to HCMaudio.com and get the SR-60's. Believe me, caring is sharing and I care about your enjoyment.

i believe px100 is better than px200 over in sound. px200 only get alittle more detail because it closed and isolate alittle. the koss are better but tend to break faster.

I have the PX100, the PX200, and the Grado SR60. They all serve me in different ways. On my commute to work, the isolation of the PX200 is a godsend. I do think the PX100 sound a tiny bit better than the PX200, but they won't work on my commute. The SR60 is too bulky to me for portable use, so I use it at home. It all comes down to how you will use those headphones; no one pair will fit all activities.
