I like the style of the SR-60s, it has a high quality retro look. But, are they circumaural, or do they sit on the ears?

and by the way "high quality look" and grado do not go together.

Everysingle one of their cans has the lamest crimped cable at the "Y" that looks like my sister's kids were doing a school project.

Also, the leather work of the RS1's is crap. It gets furry at the seam and has poor sewing work. The one pair of GS1000's I have seen looked a lot better (for $1,000 they should!).

But alas, with the SR60's, you don't need to worry about the leather...have fun with that paper thin vinyl!

But seriously...the Denon's oooze crafstmanship. If you bought a pair on JR for $99, you have no problem selling them for close to that if they werent for you.
