Very novice question, so posting here:
 
I am looking for the highest quality sound for my stereo headphones.
 
I was picking up and trying out bluray audio 5.1 with my home cinema but I wouldn't need that for my headphones? (obviously stereo mixes are included)
 
Should I be looking for SACDs with stereo pcm or something else?

What make/model headphones do you have?

Music is almost always stereo, so the best stereo headphones you can get with stereo sound is the way to go.

What is your "home Cinema"?
Assuming by Blu-ray audio 5.1, you mean you played a Blu-ray movie, not a Blu-ray music audio disk?
