Looking for something similar to HD700. Need help !

A quick up to date I been searching for a good pair of headphones for 9 years now , still haven’t found them.

Recently I tried HD700 and loved them , lovered the clarity of them since the fit my tastes. But the problem I had with them is the wider soundstage they had(this could be form me listing to closed back headphones for years). Made the sound seem distant . I’m looking for something with the same/close clarity but a narrower sound stage(so the sound feel a bit closer) .

Price point : anything below or equal to $2500( but any higher priced options are welcome )

Grado PS1000. Other than that, once you get to that price bracket, headphones will tend to spend more of the RnD you're paying for to sound like speakers. Even if the expansive imaging of the HD800/700 is tough to beat they'd still get closer to that than the more inside the head/just in front of the forehead with the cymbals bang outside the earlobes sound that doesn't throw you off.
