By deep sound I'm not really sure what I mean, something that Dark Side of the Moon would sound good with, I'm not experienced enough to describe it I guess, sorry.

and btw, I just got my grado 60's today (yeah I know they're open) but I wanted to hear how they sound, and I love the punchiness they have to them, but they are open, so I'm still looking to grab a closed pair.

Do you mean like depth to the recording? The sense as if it were enveloping you?

I think the K99 as decent depth to it and overall sounds good.
