So im looking for some new bands in the indie or rock/alt. rock genre.
My two favorite bands are brand new and alkaline trio. But I listen to a lot of everything.
If u can name some specific song you think I should listen to from the band, please do so.
So do you have any band suggestions?

a few of these are pretty alt for your taste, but try some!
TV on the radio, Grizzly Bear, Department of Eagles, The Black Keys, The Good The Bad and The Queen, Gorillaz, Final Fantasy (and Owen Pallett), Broken Social Scene, MGMT, Fleet Foxes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Woolfy, Nick Cave, The Hold Steady, the XX... want more?

afterthought: a few of these were already mentioned.. good choices!

Asaf Avidan and the Mojos are a great pick!
They're now touring across europe and the US so if you're there I suggest you go check them out.
