I'd like to add some recent released or new bands from 2007 in the rock/metal genres to my collection. I've been buying so many different things lately that this area has fallen behind. Here's what I'm looking for:

Epica's new album, The Divine Conspiracy, is excellent. Predominantly female vocals with some heavy male vocals in symphonic/gohtic metal ... Excellent musicianship, and her voice keeps getting better & better.

Hurt - Vol. 1

Good group that doesn't seem to get much attention. If you like A Perfect Circle then you should give this one a shot. They also have a new album coming out later this month, appropriately called Vol. 2.
