I have a pair of Vanatoo transparent one's, which makes it rather inconvenient for what I want to do.
Because of the built in ADC and DAC, it isn't recommended to convert a digital signal to analog before it enters the speakers, because it will immediately be converted back to digital.
Soon I'm planning on getting a turntable, which I want to hook up to my Vanatoo's, along with my pc. This part isn't an issue because of the different input options of the Vanatoo's. The thing is I want to have a single box control the volume for both sources, but this seems to be very difficult because you have a digital and analog source. \
Is there an easy way to control both the analog and digital at the same time, only for the speakers, so I don't have to touch the Windows volume controller?
I have a Creative titanium hd soundcard if that could come into use for simplifying the problem
