Hey guys!
I've been a lurker here for the last month or so. Thanks to you guys and Reddit I've purchased quite a few cans: Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, beyerdynamic DT 770 90 Ohm, and Sennheiser HD 598SE. I really like the last two I've gotten for different reasons. However, I'm finding myself wondering how much better sound can really get. I was hoping some of you guys can help steer me in the right direction for what I'm looking for.
I've been torn between the DT 1770, Sennheiser HD 600/650, Hifiman HE-400i, or just something else entirely. I've been doing a lot of research into all these cans but I'm just not sure which one I would like. I like my warm/bassy 770s a lot as I listen to a lot of hip-hop and I do game a fair amount.
I'm planning on getting a Monoprice 02 AMP/DAC shortly, so I'm not very worried about the impedance of the headphones. My budget is roughly $450, but I'm willing to go up for the right pair.
Any thoughts or recommendations is very appreciated !
