, I'm looking for leather (or non-velours) earpads that will fit on the AD900's & which are a tad 'thinner' than the stock velours ones (thinner, so that the drivers are closer to the ears), do these exist?

& what kind of material are the pads of the ATH-W11JPN? Are those suede?

Any other pads would change the sound. Maybe your can take some stuffing out of the AD900 pads. Yes, the W11JPN pads are suede.

The pads are pretty much all interchangeable on the 53mm driver headphones.
I think the ATH-A2000x have the thickest pads, and then followed by W5000 pads.
So if you want thinner, stay away from those.
