After my last plane ride I decided that I really needed a decent pair of closed, portable headphones for my iPod. Right now I've got it down to to pairs: the AKG K81 DJ, and the Audio-Technica ATH-FC700A. I've read plenty about the AKG, but I can't seem to find too much info about the AT. The FC700A seems like a nice pair of headphones, but I have no idea how they compare to the K81. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Don't want IEMs for the plane? I only ask because I've tried using the K81DJs on a plane and it didn't block out as much noise as IEMs. The K81DJs were better for plane rides than my Sony D66, but not as good as my IEMs.
