I was just about to order those pads now, but reading this im not so sure!

I am still happy with these sheepskin pads. Very comfortable. I find the PM3 to be the best headphones for waring in bed. SQ is not badly compromised. The SQ is not as good as Audeze, or Focals, but comfort is excellent.

I bought the third party PM-3 pads on Amazon ($20 CDN):
