Currently I have the Technics RP-D1200's and they are a solid set with no maor complaints. But I'm thinking of getting a new pair of head phones soon, currently the
Sennheiser HD 25-1 II, the V-Moda LP and the V-Moda M-80 have my attention. I'm looking for something great for DJing that is is the $200 or less range. I also have read about the M-100 by V-Moda but I don't think those are available yet. Thanks for any help.
The Sennheiser HD-25-1-ii are the more neutral sounding of the three. I have heard all three of those side by side and the HD-25-1-ii sounded the best. They did not have too much bass like the V-Moda M80 and were much more comfortable while they did have more midrange than the LP. The HD-25-1-ii a no brainer when it comes to DJ work.

They are tried and true and have been that way for over 20 years.
