Hi everyone,

I love my ATH-AD900 to pieces. Great soundstage, light open sound perfect for chamber music and instrumental classical, which is what I mostly listen to. However, I am leaking quite a bit of sound when I use them at work. I am looking for something similar but more appropriate for the office. I am looking to spend under $150.

I've thought of ATH-A700x, AKG K550, Shure SRH840, Beyer DT250, Beyer Custom One Pro, and Shure SRH940.

Also, I am looking for a good DAC. I don't listen to music much on the go, so lack of portability is a non-issue for me. Anything under $200 should be good. Maybe the Schiit Modi.

Thanks

Assuming your playing audio from a computer (PC or Mac).
Get the FiiO E10K or FiiO Q1 or Schiit Fulla, all are USB-DAC-amps.
All sell for under $100.

Headphones
AKG K553 Pro or Soundmagic HP150
