I live in Nashville and I am looking for any stores that carry headphones to try and compare other than electronic mega stores.

I'm not familiar with the stores in Nashville, but I have to believe that there are stores that sell equipment for professional musicians and studios. They will have headphones, although they're going to carry the ones preferred by DJs and sound engineers, not necessarily the ones preferred by audiophiles. They may very well carry some Sennheisers and AKGs, but are unlikely to carry Grados. Also try the better stereo specialty stores. Some of them in my area stock Grados and even a headphone amp or two. Look in the Yellow Pages for dealers that carry audio brands like NAD, Rotel, Conrad-Johnson, B&W, Magnepan, Totem, and Paradigm. Those companies don't make headphones, but the stores that carry those brands are usually smaller specialty stores that would be likely to carry some good headphones.
