you can use WMP9 with Ifp so you can reload only a folder at a time

Personally, I prefer the iPod Mini, but you cannot find one of those either right now. The integration with iTunes is simply unmatched by any other player. Rio's software is very poor, but you can always download Spoon's DBPoweramp with Sveta portable audio.
If you cannot wait, the 1.5 GB Nitrus is the way to go. It is light and rugged (except the joystick).
