Are you getting any error messages (i.e., Airplane mode) using that PocketDock? I'm currently running a mini-to-mini cable from my iPhone 3g to the car stereo Aux input. I'm looking for an inexpensive (Cheep ;~) line-out connector; ideally one where I can charge the phone while playing music, and the PockerDock sounds like a good solution if it really works.

the pocketdock will still give the warning and want you to put it in airplane mode.

I too am looking for an LOD for the iphone that'll still make it able to accept calls

Sorry for not answering before now...

The pocketdock I use, is a USB mini pocketdock (the newest LOD from Sendstation) and it's perfect. No problem with this at all!
