I'm looking for an inexpensive equipment rack.  I need three shelves for my CD player, tuner, DAC, and integrated amp.  The cheapest one I found was the Salamander Archetype 3.0 ($190).  I'm a graduate student and don't want to spend that much money on a rack.  Any recommendations?

I'm in the same boat, undergrad student though. I can't seem to find it, assumed I had bookmarked it, but there's a DIY shelf that's quite similar to that one you linked in design for about $30 worth of materials if memory serves me correctly. It was made of MDF shelving, I'm sure you can dig it up.
