Hello All,
I'm somewhat of a newb with IEMs. I've got a set of Klipsch S4ii that I like well enough except that that the signal cord is microphonic to the extreme. Any kind of movement results in intrusive noise in all but the loudest listening sessions. I like the tonal balance of the S4ii but want something with a quiet cord.
I prefer a fuller sound as opposed to lean 'n mean. As an example, I actually prefer the tonal balance of the Sony MDR-7509 to the Sennheiser HD-650.
I'd be willing to step up in quality and get something up to the $400-$600 range, but they gotta be quiet (the cable).
Source is an Astell&Kern AK-120.
Thanks in advance
