Looking for headphones under 150$

I got a defective product. The left channel is a little louder than the right.
Gave it for replacement. It should be back in 2 weeks.

I really love the sound though.
sparkly highs, silky smooth mids, tight bass with a very spacious and airy soundstage.
I had an instant smile on my face when i heard them for the first time.

I was going to get the HD 558 before I read your awesome HD 598 review.
After reading it, I knew what I had to do.
Thank you very much for the awesome suggestion :)

Not sure if its truely defective.  It's rare for me to find headphones without any sort of channel imbalance.  I just go into the settings on my music player and change the balance.  Most music players have this.

You are absolutely welcome :)
You have just heard them "tight." When those babies loosen, they'll start to shine. Seems like they stopped gaining audio quality after 4 months (stops gaining extra quality/fully loose.)
