Obviously, the iPod's included earbuds are terrible. I guess the logical solution for an iPod Touch is IEM's. What are some good $100 or less ones? I was looking at the V-Moda Vibe, Bose TriPorts, or Shure E2C. I mainly listen to rap, rock, and a bit of techno. Also, are there any good regular headphones suitable for an iPod?

Look at the akg k81dj. Foldable full size headphones. under 80 here in the forums

for iems, i would say try the jvc fx66 air cushions. Pretty awesome for 35 bucks

I've been using the Ety ER-6i for a while now. I'm pretty sure they are available for under $100. I like them a lot considering the cost. If you get a good seal the bass is nice, perhaps not quite as low as I would like but not bad either. There pretty well balanced but again, the seal really effects the sq.

For the kind of music you listen to, the bass may not be what you are looking for. The problem with the E2C is that while the bass might be lower the quality of the bass isn't close. Bloated, muddy, etc.

If you can order online, get the Ultimate Ears super.fi 3 Studio for around US$60-US$65.

I've got a pair of Westone UM1's - read the reviews and you will see that they are great bang for buck (IMHO). Been using them for a year and they're great.
