[Solido]

I have been lurking on this board for a while, and finally took the step to register. I am interested in some good sub $200 headphones. I am not committed to open or closed, but I have my eye on the grado sr80s. Can anyone offer some feedback or suggestions on factors I may want to consider, or other products I should look at?

I can tell you that the Grados are a fine choice; but I will admit to being new to all this too. I bought a pair, have had them a week or so, and they are sweet sounding indeed. Maybe a little uncomfy at first, but they can be tweaked a bit to improve this. They leak sound of course.
I have V Moda M80s too - and I can heartily recommend them. 
I have bluetooth Bose as well - great for moving around, doing other things whilst enjoying music, and the sound is fine.
I use a FiiO E09 and E07, but I don't think the Grados or the M80s need an amp; they may just be even better with one!
