hi Everybody,
I am looking for a DAP/DAC for around $150-200 Dollars
I wanted the Fiio M -6 but as of today I cant find it for sale except on EBAY.
I would also need the player to have an SD card capacity of at least 512 GB,
I have also looked at the Hidizs AP80 PRO But its a bit small.
I would be thankful for any help.

I bought the Sony NW A55 at $150 USD first hand. It is a great warm and smooth DAP. There's a firmware mod by Mr Walkman that greatly improves the sound quality with various options and makes it sound much better than the stock tuning: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sony-walkman-os-custom-firmware-non-android.943661/

Has about 20+ hours battery life too, nice layering and soundstage.

I think you can also use it on desktop via usb as dac.

Yes indeed it can be used as a DAC. it has bluetooth function too, so pretty versatile.

Is it good, though? I’ve been looking for an inexpensive DAC and I wonder how does it fair compared to, say, hidisz s9 pro. Anything good under 150$

Haven't tried the Hidizs S9 Pro, but with the firmware mods, the Sony A55 sounds very good for me. You can ask the others in this thread: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sony-walkman-os-custom-firmware-non-android.943661/
Perhaps they have tried the S9 Pro there.
