Hey Guys!
I'm new to Head-Fi, so please excuse any Audiophile Faux-Pas.
I had a pair of Sennheiser HD 218s for about 8 months before the jack broke. I have had to use $12 Sony headphones from Walmart ever since.
It's probably pretty obvious by now that I want to upgrade.
I have a budget of ~$325. I listen mostly to Rush, but sometimes Daft Punk, deadmau5, and such show up in my library. I also have to go through 10-18 hour-long bus rides for school trips, so I am looking for something VERY comfortable.
I have been looking at Audio Technica ATH-M50 for a while, but I was looking for a detachable cable for painless replacement.
I made up my mind to go for Shure's SRH940s, unless someone interjects here.
Please help ASAP!
